As a reference-less piece, the composition was crafted to highlight and amplify the abstraction that contrast can evoke. The interplay between the bright, penetrating light and the darker, shadowed areas creates a dynamic tension, adding depth and visual intrigue to the painting. Each element is intentionally placed to enhance this effect, drawing the viewer into the sense of cover and safety provided by the barn’s structure.
