Living Scene

In the painting titled Dining Room I sought to capture a moment of solace amidst a period of upheaval. This scene marked a significant transition in my life. Living Room created subsequently, reflects a deeper layer of my personal journey. In this piece, the objects inadvertently take on anthropomorphic qualities, symbolizing the places I’ve called home and the individuals with whom I’ve shared my life in pursuit of love. Despite having just ended a relationship, discovering these meanings within the painting was uplifting. It allowed me to envision myself within the scene—looking forward with optimism, calm, and strength. This painting became a space where I could place myself, reflecting on past experiences while embracing a hopeful future.
